Liam and Maria's visit

Maria and her baby, Liam, came to visit us this weekend. It was certainly interesting having Maria visit when we both have babies. We used to head out all over town when we got together. This time we just hung out at home with the babies most of the day. We did go out and meet Scott at Fridays for dinner. It was absolutely packed! Look who was at the table next to us ---Steelers fans!!! Boo!
Near the end of the meal I glanced across the room and noticed an amazing spectacle....an amazon mullet. This guy was at least 6'5" (at LEAST) and had to weigh around 275. Anyway, he had a flowing blond mullet all down his back. The top was spiked! I wanted so badly to take a picture, but Barclay shot me down. I even had slick techniques prepared. For example, I would stand behind him and pretend to take a picture of our table from the distance. Or, I would sit at our table and take a picture over Barclay's shoulder. If I used my zoom that would have gotten a perfect picture. Barclay's theory, though, was that this guy is used to those sorts of tricks to get his picture. Probably true, nonetheless, Peterson would have been proud of me!

This morning we went and met Nikki and Anita for lunch before Maria and Anita headed out of town. Anita was full of silly stories...I'm glad no one was sitting near us!
We're watching the Colts game now...I just had to take a break because they were making me physically ill :) I"ll go see if they've decided to actually get in the game yet. Keep your fingers crossed!

A chance to capture the elusive amazon mullet is rare indeed. Much like a sasquatch siting in the northwest territories, the chance is often fleeting at best. To be sure, the amazon mullet can become aggressive and angry at having it's picture taken, but it is well worth the risk. Your technique sounds flawless, now we need Barclay to be ready to risk a violent encounter with the amazon mullet if you are caught.
