CONGRATS ARIANA!

Ariana Brittany Wong is a 2008 graduate of Oberlin College. We traveled to Oberlin this weekend to watch her graduate and spend a few days together. The drive was long...5 hours...but the girls were really really good in the car. Ana sat in the backseat with them on the way there. She gave Lily this little japanimation dude to go inside Lily's yellow toy car. It became the toy obsession of the weekend (actually, I don't know how long this particular obsession will last...it's not waned today at all). Anyway, on Saturday night we went out to dinner with Barclay's friend from college. I got a migraine in the middle of dinner and had to go lie down in the car. If that wasn't embarassing enough, then I barfed on the side of the road on the way home. Terrible. I felt fine again by the next morning, though. We spent Sunday wandering around campus - it was awesome weather. We walked by the athletic facilities, let the girls run the track, walked by all the old buildings, and had lunch in a big open area. The girls had plenty of room to run and play. Later that day everyone (except me) helped Ari pack. I walked down to get ice cream with the girls at this cute little ice cream/coffee/pastry/convenience shop. Ari and her roommates hosted a cookout that night.

Sunday was the actual graduation. Ari is a W, so you can imagine how long it took for her name to be called. Fortunately, the graduation was outside, so the girls could run and play for most of the ceremony. We're all very proud of Aunt Ariana.
