Baby it's coooollllldddd outside

We've had to find ways to keep busy inside this winter b/c it's been a very cold few weeks. Very very cold. Needless to say, it's put a damper any trips to the playground, playing outside, or long walks. So here are some pics of what we do when we have to play inside. We build countless block towers - really. Lily wants to "build wit blocks" all day long. We've also let them "swim" in the hot tub on two occasions. That's been a blast. The temperature can't be too hot, but if it's 100 degrees or so the girls can get in with water wings and floats. They thinks it's so fun and could stay out there all day! It's a riot.

Tea Room

We ate at the Tea Room on Monday. The girls did a great job - believe it or not! There were lots of breakable things and nothing got broken. Amazing. Plus Melissa was the best waitress ever. I thought this picture of Mike was cute...he looks like a little man saying "Hey, what you doin'?"

Addison is 9 months old!

Addy had her 9 month appt today. She's doing really well. She's 17 lbs and in the 55% for height (though I don't remember exactly how tall she is). The funny part is that as small as she is, her head circumference is in the 85% :) The big head gene sure is strong!

Ohhhh....and Addy got up 4 stairs today before I learned that she can climb stairs! Good grief -the gate comes out again!

Lily had a major sinus infection last week. We didn't know what was wrong with her, but she was very lethargic and kept barfing on Abbie. Anyway, I thought it was the 24 hour flu, but after about 96 hours, I took her to the doctor and they gave her the sinus infection diagnosis. For anyone who doesn't know the Diego Rescue Pack story, I'll fill you in later. But just to give you a taste of how much she loves her rescue pack, she wouldn't let go of it even when deathly ill on the couch and in no mood to to play.
