4 Month Doc Visit

The bambino went to the doctor this morning for her four month appointment. She weighs 14 pounds and is 25 inches long. She's a very average weight for her age, but she's in the 95th percentile for height. I knew she was getting tall! She also had to get shots....she looked right at me when the stuck her and cried and cried. It was horrible. I felt so bad that I couldn't take her to day care. She came to the office with me and took a nap for a few hours while I got some things done. She finally gets to start on real food (rice anyway) so I'm sure that will cheer her up this afternoon.

Don't worry...it's not a walker

We got Lily a new toy over the weekend. Lately she insists on "standing" on our laps all of the time. As cute as it is, it gets tiring after days and days of it. So we found this get up - they don't sell many walkers anymore b/c kids were getting hurt. So this is just like a walker, without the wheels.

On another note - now that Lily is going to bed so early it's really sad to spend the whole day working. When I first went back she was still staying up till 10:00 or so. Now she can't maintain her cool after 8:00. So I keep waking her up (I know, I know, I'm breaking all the rules). I didn't even know Barclay took this picture until I downloaded them all off the camera.

Visit to the Haute

Lily and I went to the Haute on Friday night. Sarah and John Joseph came by to visit for a while. Lily and John look closer to the same age than they used too - Lily is gaining on him size wise.

We also went to see Abbie in her school play. She had the lead roll as the witch/evil queen from all of the fairy tales. It was funny because the roll was an exaggeration of her normal sarcastic personality. She was supposed to fly at the end, but they had tehnical difficulties, so the witch was grounded until the curtain closed.

Now that Lily's finally big enough to wear her 3-6 months clothes, we broke out the jean overalls this weekend - check out how stylish she looks sucking her thumb!

Jamaican Bobsled Twins

Ana and John went on a cruise last week and brought Lily a Jamaica tee shirt to match Barclay's. They posed together for a picture to show their Jamaican pride. Next I'm going to teach her to do an Irish river dance :)
