Siesta Key - we're back

Just got back from Siesta Key this afternoon. It was quite a drive - 16 hours - but all together a much more pleasant time than flying with the girls! They did great in the car. The weather was prefect while we were there. It rained twice, but both times it was dark so it didn't matter. Otherwise it was sunny and warm. We did just what we planned to do - laid on the beach, swam in the pool, read lots of books, ate lots of yummy food, and slept a lot. It was a good time. We only left the key once to take the girls to this Sarasota Jungle thing - alligators, crocs, big turtles and fancy birds were all on display. They loved it.
