Superhero commercial

Child Advocates is hosting a Super hero run on 10/27.  Last week we filmed a commercial to both advertise the run and encourage people to volunteer "Every kid needs a hero, but abused and neglected kids need Superheros"!

1st day of School!

My baaabbbbyyy, my baby started kindergarten!  Addy's first day of kindergarten was on Tuesday. Lily started first grade the same day.  They were both so ready and so excited for school, but I was honnestly a little sad. It's hard to believe that Addy is old enough for kindergarten. I swear it was just a minute ago (I know, I sound like a sap now) that she was learning to talk and use the potty!

 Look how cute they look in their uniforms!  The uniforms are a morning lifesaver. We love them, and for now the girls love them too.  Addy's teachers job share so there are two of them - Mrs. Meyer and Mrs. Boester.  Lily's teacher is Mrs. Johnson.  I think it's going to be a wonderful year!
